TERMS OF SERVICE

1. What You're Buying

Titles.lol sells verifiable, collectible titles — digital status items with a signed certificate, a permanent public page, and a transparent price history. They are not securities, investments, or financial instruments. They confer no equity, voting rights, revenue share, or ownership of intellectual property. Any language implying resale value or return on purchase is strictly marketing hyperbole, not a promise.

2. Scarcity & Mechanics

• Common & Official: unlimited holders. Official adds the ✅ Verified stamp and certificate.
• Rare (25 max) / Legendary (4 max) / One-of-One (1 ever): hard caps enforced at the protocol level.
• Instant Takeover: anyone can take an owned title by paying its current price plus a 5% house fee (minimum floor per tier). That total becomes the new price, so the price only goes up. The outgoing holder is not paid — they keep the Former Holder record.

3. Identity & Content Rules

• No impersonation: you may not claim titles using the full legal name of a real person other than yourself. First-name-only or clearly fictional framing is fine.
• No trademarks: protected brand names (Nike, Coca-Cola, Disney, etc.) are blocked.
• No hate speech, slurs, harassment, or NSFW content. Automated filters + manual review for edge cases.
• Violations may result in the title being revoked at our sole discretion. No money is returned.

4. Payments

All payments processed via Stripe. Digital goods are final sale except:

• Takeover race (two people pay for the same title in the same instant) → only one can be fulfilled, so the unfulfilled charge is voided. Nothing is billed for a title you did not receive.
• If we cannot deliver a title at all, the charge is voided.

Chargebacks for delivered titles will be contested with full evidence (certificate, timestamp, blockchain-style audit trail). Abusive chargebacks may result in title revocation and account ban.

5. No Warranties

Titles.lol is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uptime, certificate render perfection, or that your title won't be taken over 5 minutes after you buy it. That's the game.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, legal obligations, or if the Ministry of Titles dissolves (unlikely, but legally required to say).

7. Governing Law

These terms governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Ministry of Titles is incorporated (Delaware, USA), without regard to conflict of laws. Disputes resolved in state/federal courts thereof.
